How do I know my baby is teething?
The teething can be a very interesting observing time for parents, while it is a more painful experience for babies. Since every baby grows at a different pase, every baby is going to start teething at different times as well as having different symptoms that show they are starting to push teeth up.
When your baby does start to teeth you will want to make him feel as loved and comfortable as possible. Giving him extra attention by playing or introducing new toys that will catch his/her attention. One of the best things you can do for your baby during teething time is to provide them with a chilled teether to ease the uncomfortable feeling in their mouth. Please make sure the teether or any other toys that the baby regularly plays with are clean, to ensure no bacteria build up.
Here are a few common symptoms of a teething baby;
- Having trouble sleeping
- Wanting to chew or suck on toys or pretty much anything
- Rejecting food
Teething usually occurs when the baby is around 4-7 months old, therefor be on the lookout for a little while spot in their mouth, and get excited!
